Southwest opened its doors in 1951, making us the oldest existing campus in operation in BISD. We have served generations of families in the Belton community and take great pride in our rich heritage and beautiful building. Southwest educates approximately 400 students each year. One of our unique programs is the Bilingual program for Spanish speaking students. This means that one class at each grade level is devoted to supporting students who are learning English as their second language. We are a campus rich in a tradition founded on the very values that keep us going today. Family, love for our students and community support.
